Summary
This 5 days (4 nights) yoga and mindfulness retreat in the beautiful village of Beuda in Garrotxa, Catalonia, is a perfect way to reconnect to yourself, start, or build your yoga practice, enjoy some delicious, locally sourced, vegetarian food, hike and meditate in the calm pine woods, and, most importantly, rest. You will stay in Can Felicia, a beautiful, 19th century-built stone building, in the middle of the Catalan countryside.
You will be well looked after by Magdalena (Yoga Teacher), Clara (Chef) and Jordi (Host). We are all truly passionate about what we do. We aim to offer you a beautiful experience in these unique surroundings, and to support you on your way to a happier, healthier, more grounded self. All sessions are optional, but they have also been designed to fit together to allow you to make the best of your time with us.

Transfer from and to Girona airport or Girona train/bus station (in the interest of the planet there will be maximum of 3 pick up and 3 drop off times on the arrival and departure days, so please note that you might have to wait a little bit longer at the airport or at the station than if you were to be picked up individually).

8 yoga classes, each 90 minutes long (total of 12 hours of yoga instruction) taught by a fully qualified and insured hatha and yin yoga teacher

Comfortable clothes for your yoga practice (including some warmer layers for yin yoga)

Sunscreen (it tends to be overpriced in Spain and the sun can be quite strong in early May)

Power adapter for your charger (Spain has continental type sockets)

Glass/metal water bottle (to fill up with filtered water for when you go on hikes, or practice, and to reduce plastic waste)

A notebook, if you like to keep a diary, or take notes

A book to read; the rooms have no TVs and there will be plenty of down time

Black and/or green tea, if you cannot imagine your day without it
Prices, booking & available discounts
Prices
The regular prices will be announced in autumn 2020. For now, enjoy the early bird discounts below!
Early bird discount
The early bird price is £550/600 euro if booked before the 1st of December 2020
(£150/200 euro non-refundable deposit will be required to book your place; the remaining balance must be paid before the 1at of April 2021). Please note that single occupation sur-charge is not discounted, so the early bird price if you would like a room to yourself is £700/830 euro.
Subsidised places
There is one subsidized place available at the discounted price of £300/350 euro. This place is reserved for people on low income and can be applied for by emailing Magdalena at hatha.lena@gmail.com with a brief explanation of your eligibility for the subsidized place and reasons why you would like to attend this retreat. There is a possibility of paying for the subsidized place in installments (please specify if you would require these).
Booking
Places can be booked by emailing hatha.lena@gmail.com. Your place is only reserved once the deposit has been paid; payments can be made by cash (if you are currently a yoga student of Magdalena), or via a bank transfer. Bank details for UK and international transfer will be provided via email.
